I feel like I've discovered the fountain of youth, there's no denying that we're all going to age and get old, but what if you could age in a way that you just look your best for your age and feel your best?

 
There is a reason why we have our chronological age, meaning the times you've gone around the sun to celebrate your birthday, and then you have your biological clock, this is what shows your "wear and tear", this is your appearance and not just for aesthetics but how you actually feel and how your body functioning on the inside.

 
I've learned that a big part of what ages us faster is the wear and tear of our cells.

Our cells are at risk because of significant damage like lifestyle, the environment,  poor diet, alcohol, and smoking to name a few, and as well as psychological factors like stress.

1. Nutrition
Ditch the processed foods, refined sugars and refined grains. Focus on whole foods such as fresh vegetables and fruits, whole grains, lean meats.

 
2. Exercise
Exercising helps your body rid of damaged cells and replace them, it is a way of regenerating your cells, and studies have shown that HIIT cardio is an innovative therapeutic modality in preserving mitochondrial quality with age. *study


3. Relax
I think most people know how stress ages us faster than anything. Learn ways to manage stress, this can be done with meditation, a simple walk, taking adaptogens, and breathing techniques.

You don't have to wait for Monday to start good eating habits.  You can easily start with your next meal.

Include more proteins, some healthy fats, vegetables and fruits in your meals.

Ditch all of the processed foods, refined sugars and unhealthy cooking oils.

Start moving your body more, get active, go for a walk.  

You don't have spend hours upon hours at the gym.
